What can I expect?
Our team will choose a tooth coloured composite resin to match the shade of your natural teeth. The resin is then applied to your tooth, similar to the application of resin to fill a cavity.
This procedure is referred to as cosmetic bonding because an adhesive agent is used to help bond the resin to the tooth. After it is applied, the resin is hardened (cured) with a curing light and then shaped, contoured, and polished to provide a consistent texture and appearance.
Is dental bonding is right for me?
Cosmetic bonding can be a suitable way for some patients to change the appearance of their smile, and can often be completed during a single appointment.
Bonding may be recommended to help alter minor defects in your teeth, including spots, chips, or gaps between teeth.
